Luckily, I did not have to drill holes in my 2003 Ford Windstar, but the factory took me about 2 hours and that is with a vehicle lift and a carport Full of tools, so I could stand under the van to install it. You will have Many bolts and nuts left over, since this is a universal.

If I had to do all this by laying on the ground, it would have taken about 6 hours. Remember to leave all the bolts Loose until you put the last one in.
